2010 Welcome And Information |
| |
Welcome to the Northern California French
Bulldog Website. 2010 promises to be an exciting
year for all of us in the club and in the breed.
We have several fun events scheduled for our
members and friends as well as our annual
Regional Specialty and Sweepstakes shows. This
year our shows will be held at the Courtyard by
Marriott Hotel in Vallejo and we’re looking
forward to having our events at this new venue.
This move promises to allow us to make some
changes in our show schedule and we are hopeful
you will find your time with us even more
enjoyable this year.
Along
with our shows there will be a show hosted by
the Northern California Non Sporting Dog Club
followed by the annual Coyote Hills Kennel Club
Dog Show to be held at the Solano County
Fairgrounds right next to the hotel. All
combined these events promise to offer five
majors in four days so mark your calendars for
May 20th through the 23rd, and plan to join us
that week. We will also be holding our annual
Easter Egg hunt this Spring so check the website
and the club newsletter for more details about
upcoming activities.
This year Michele Copen has generously offered
her time to contact people for trophy donations,
we appreciate her help as this plays a very
important part of meeting our annual expenses.
We hope members and friends will be able to
support the club by donating to the trophy and
show fund. And don’t forget our sponsorship
program, this is another way to support the club
and it’s various activities throughout the year.
And don’t forget, we also offer advertising in
our newsletter and in our show catalog. These
are great ways to advertise your dog, kennel or
business as well as help the club.
Please take the time to look through the club
website. Our webmaster, Mr. Jack Storck, has
done a terrific job of creating a site for all
French Bulldog enthusiasts as well as club
members. I’m sure you’ll find he has put
together a site that has something for everyone
as well as good information about the breed. And
do consider taking part in the club activities
and meetings, we always welcome members and
friends to join us throughout the year.
Looking forward to a great 2010!
Susan Bunyard, President, NCFBC |
