Here we go again,
The Northern California French Bulldog Club will be hosting its 5th
Annual Regional Specialty and 4th Annual Bare Bones Specialty on May
16th, 2008 in conjunction with the Coyote Hills Kennel Club Dog Show
in Vallejo, California which will be held May 17th and 18th, 2007.
We have started accepting donations for our awards and you can find
the trophies that are available listed on our club website. We will
also be contacting all contributors from last year to see if they
would like to contribute to our general trophy fund or donate to a
specific trophy again this year. All trophy sponsors will be listed
in our show catalog. This is a great way to expose your kennel or
pay homage to a person or do
We also have some
perpetual trophies still available for sponsorship. These perpetual,
or challenge trophies, will be bestowed upon the winning dog of the
designated award and will remain within the owner’s care for a
one-year period. At the completion of the year, the exhibitor will
have the winning dog’s name engraved on the trophy and return it at
the next annual NCFBC specialty. This pattern will continue until
one individual has won the trophy three times at which time the
trophy will be retired to that individual.
As
a perpetual trophy sponsor, you can pay tribute to or honor one of
your dogs or your kennel. The name of your choice would be engraved
on the trophy along with the award you are sponsoring. You are free
to choose the trophy yourself, however, you will need to gain
approval from the NCFBC Officers and Board of Directors. This
trophy must be mounted on a base that will allow the names of the
trophy winners to be engraved or mounted with some type of tag with
an engraving noting the winner. All of the “Challenge Trophy”
sponsors will be so noted in our catalog along with a dedication to
the dog or kennel it is named for.
You may check our club website for
trophy availability. Or you may contact Susan Bunyard for more
information.
We hope you will join us for a fun filled weekend of dog shows and
socializing with fellow Frenchie enthusiasts. Don’t forget to
mark your calendars for the weekend of May 16th through
May 18th and watch for your premium
lists in the mail.
